Beach, Calif., Huntington Beach HS) in the 100 breaststroke (15th), and Garrett
Hubbard (So. Granada Hills, Calif., Bishop Alemany HS) in the 400 IM (16th)
“I was a little worried about Jake priest was
injured just two weeks ago His swim shows how tough of a swimmer he is,” said CSUB director or swimming Chris Hansen. “To have four guys Daneke, Pipes, Huxhold and Bertrand
all under 1:40 is huge for CSUB. Not
many schools can claim that". I am psyched to have three of them returning
next year. Dan really wanted the school record in the fly, he talked about it
all year. I am psyched he accomplished his goal. Alex Daneke was a stud
tonight! He finished top three in two
events. He is back and on fire. We are
in forth place right now and if we have a great day tomorrow we can narrow the
gap on UNLV And Wyoming. Tomorrow is a strong day for us we need to take
advantage of it. Hawaii has strong
divers on platform so we need to out swim them."
The final day of the MPSF Championships
resumes with the preliminaries at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Finals are set for 6
p.m.
