IRVINE, Calif. – For the tenth time in his storied career, Cal State Bakersfield swimmer Vili Sivec has been named the Swimmer of the Week by his conference. The Big West announced Sivec as the male selection on Tuesday, making it three competitions and three awards for the Roadrunner this season. Sivec earned the honor from The Big West three times last year and four times across his first two seasons while CSUB competed in the MPSF.

Sivec's performance let Cal State Bakersfield's men to a 3-0 sweep of its dual opponents this past weekend in Bakersfield. The `Runner senior is now 12-0 on the season in individual races, adding six more wins to his resume this weekend alone. Sivec posted a pair of triples on Friday and Saturday, winning the 100 Fly, 200 Fly, and 100 Free each day. He also guided the `Runner men to take wins in the 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay. 

The `Runners are preparing for their final dual of the 2025-26 season before hitting the grind for postseason competition.
