Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Mission Statement

The CSU Bakersfield Athletic Department is committed to creating an environment that promotes and supports individuality and acceptance of various backgrounds in their student- athletes, coaches and support staff. The CSU Bakersfield Athletics Department fully endorses the values and goals as outlined in the CSUB Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policy. along with the CSU Policy  that explicitly prohibits discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, sexual exploitation, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and Retaliation against students, employees, and third parties.The overarching focus of the CSU Bakersfield Athletics DEI committee shall always be to ensue programs are offered that provide education, support and progress the topics of diversity, equity and inclusion to all.
