BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The CSU Bakersfield wrestling team will continue their successful non-conference season when the Roadrunners travel to Wyoming for a dual on Friday, Jan. 12 and then on Sunday, Jan. 14 compete in a tri-dual against Duke and host school Northern Colorado.
Wyoming is ranked 23
rd in the country by USA Today, finished second at the Reno Tournament of Champions and the Cowboys defeated Duke earlier in the season 34-7.
The `Runners are coming off a successful trip to Tennessee when CSUB placed five wrestlers in the top eight of their respective weight classes at the Southern Scuffle. And the Scuffle is not just any tournament, it is one of the most prestigious collegiate wrestling tournaments in the country.

Manny Rivera said, "We look forward to competing against three tough teams this weekend. Wyoming has shown that they are capable of competing with the best teams in the country and we need to be ready to wrestle hard when we get there. UNC and Duke will be tough duals for us as well, both teams are solid up and down the line up and they have some very good individuals as well."
Duke finished fifth overall at the Southern Scuffle and Northern Colorado finished tied for 12
th.
