2017-18 (R-SOPHOMORE): Competed in 24 matches at 165 and just two matches at 174...finished season with a 12-14 record...was 5-4 in duals...record four decisions, three major decisions, four tech falls and a pin...began season with a 17-2 tech fall of Derek Holcomb of Buffalo...placed second in the Roadrunner Open after going 3-1 and recording his only pin of the season (1:48) against Brendan Burnham of Maryland....went 2-2 at the Cliff Kleen Las Vegas Invitational...placed second at the Pac-12 Tournament...defeated Rodney Williams of Oregon State with a tech fall in the semifinals.

2016-17 (R-FRESHMAN): Qualified for the NCAA Championships by placing second at the Pac-12 Tournament...defeated Keaton Subjeck of Stanford 4-2 in overtime in the semifinals before dropping a 16-7 decision to Arizona State’s Anthony Valencia in the finals..went 0-2 at the NCAA Tournament...got the season off to a 2-1 start in dual competition..went 2-2 at the Roadrunner Open...earned a 3-2 mark at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational...placed eighth at the Midlands...won first four matches at the Midlands, reaching the semifinals...went 7-2 in duals...went 19-13 with five pins.

2015-16 (REDSHIRT): Sat out as a redshirt in the CSU Bakersfield program...competed in six open tournaments and won his first 15 matches before ending his campaign with a 24-4 record...won the 157-pound titles at the San Francisco State, Fresno City College, and Roadrunner Opens...moved to 165 pounds and placed third at the Wisconsin Open and RTOC...moved to 174 pounds for the California Open and won first match before being injured and having to medically default final two matches.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Folsom High School...coach was Mike Collier...was the 160-pound runner-up at the 2015 state tournament...placed sixth at 145 pounds at the 2014 state meet...team won two section dual championships.

PERSONAL: Born Apr. 11, 1997...son of Seth and Nikki De La Riva...a kinesiology major.
