Bakersfield, CA- The CSU Bakersfield Cheerleading team capped off their performance season with another first place finish during the 2024 PPAACC Cheer Finals held at Del Oro High school. Reign Elite Tiny Prep level-1 kicked off the morning session of cheer performances with an entertaining routine to the delight of the crowd. As the crowd size continued to swell inside the Del Oro gym, teams treated event goers with action packed and entertaining routines.  

The Junior Scholastic Division featured Greenfield, McKee and Ollivier Middle schools. While the Senior Scholastic Division featured host school Del Oro, North, South, West, Golden Valley, Frontier, and Bakersfield High schools. Competing in the Senior Youth Level-1 Division was Tribe Athletics and the Youth level-1 Division featured Reign Elite (Enchanted).

The Roadrunners were the last cheer team to compete in the morning session and were greeted by an energized crowd as they took the floor with cheers and chants of Let's Go Runners. 

At the conclusion of the cheerleading competition, teams were lined up outside before being paraded inside and presented with their overall standings.

" I knew in the summer this team was going to be special. We had an experience core of returners, led by our senior class, and added some great pieces by way of transfers and incoming freshmen.
