8th Annual ROWDYs Nominees Announced, Show May 13


This year's show 'The 8th Annual ROWDYs' features a heavy focus on the student-athlete experience at CSUB with an emphasis on the senior class of 2019. With the 2018-19 season bringing another exceptional round of athletic and academic performances, CSUB is looking forward to showcasing the best of the Roadrunners with plenty of multimedia highlights from the year.

In total, 24 awards will be handed out on May 13, featuring the best of CSUB's student-athletes for outstanding academic and athletic feats as well as showing heart and grit in their everyday lives. The nominees for this year's awards are listed below, including those for a pair of new awards to the ROWDYs: `Runner Spirit Award and Campus Life Leadership Award.

Fans are invited to attend the free show, presented by Kern Schools Federal Credit Union and Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield, on Monday, May 13. A special gold carpet meet and greet with student-athletes kicks the evening off at 6 p.m. at Fox Theater and the show starts promptly at 7 p.m.
