2017 (SOPHOMORE): Started 25-of-30 appearances...hit .311 with 10 RBI’s...recorded a .361 on-base percentage and a .356 slugging percentage...scored 13 runs...did not commit an error in 51 chances in the outfield (50-1-0).

2016 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 13 games...posted two hits in 10 at-bats...scored one run and charted one double.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2015 graduate of Mesquite High School...coach was Jeff Holland...team won state championship during senior season...named All-State, All-Division, and All-Section as a junior...earned All-District honors in 2013...graduated in top-five percent of class with a 4.4 GPA.

PERSONAL: Born Mar. 3, 1997...son of Mike and Linda Valletta...a biochemistry major.
