Biography
2020-21 (BLANKET WAIVER): Appeared in all 18 games, starting 12 times on the year...led team in blocks (11)...finished her fourth-straight season above .500 in field goal percentage at 51.5%...was third in rebounding (3.7)...fifth in scoring (7.5) on team...attempted least amount of shots (103) among starters...holds positions on the Big West Undivided DEI Committee and Education subcommittee, Big West branding task force, Big West SAAC, Big West Student Athlete Committee, CSUB SAAC, and CSUB DEI...with NCAA blanket waiver, returns in 2021-22 for her final season with the Roadrunners.
2019-20 (JUNIOR): Played in 29 games...preferred to come off the bench although was in the starting line up twice...posted a career-high 22 points at California Baptist to fuel a 2-0 conference start for the Roadrunners...grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds against San Jose State...added three double doubles to her career total...led the team in field-goal percentage for the third-straight year.
2018-19 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 31 games, starting 23 times for the second-straight year...was the most efficient scorer for CSU Bakersfield, leading the team in field-goal percentage (51.9) for a consecutive season...bested her season total in rebounds with 148...posted a career-high 21 points at San Jose State...had 12 contests that she finished in double figures.
2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 32 games, starting 23 times...was the most efficient scorer for the Roadrunners, leading the team in field-goal percentage (54.0)...grabbed 104 boards off the glass...posted a career-high 13 points on three different occasions (Dec. 31, Jan. 27 and Mar. 9) against UC Irvine, Seattle U and Grand Canyon, respectively...finished her freshman campaign fourth on the team in blocks (9)...was named to the WAC All-Newcomer Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Judge Memorial Catholic High School...coached by Paul Shiramizu...earned first team All-State and Defensive Player of the Year in 2016...named American Family Insurance All-USA in 2016...named first team All-Region in 2016 and 2015...tabbed third team All-State in 2015...helped lead the Bulldogs to a Region Championship in 2014 and 2013...competed in track and field. PERSONAL: Born Oct. 19, 1998...born in Salt Lake City, Utah...parents are Isaac and Denise Austin...finished Kinesiology degree, minor is Psychology...father, Isaac, played in the NBA from 1991-94 and 1996-02 with seven teams...cousin, Isaiah Austin, competed in basketball at Baylor...working on Master's degree in Kinesiology...plans to either play overseas, go back to school for athletic training, or work in administration in athletics.
