BAKERSFIELD, Calif – CSU Bakersfield will return to the Icardo Center after one in a half months competing away at tournaments and duals. The Roadrunners will host Utah Valley in a dual at home this year on Sat. Jan. 20.
Utah Valley comes into the dual 5-3 and 2-1 (Big 12) on the season. Three of the `Runners had the pleasure of matching up with an UVU teammate at the Southern Scuffle in the beginning of the month where the `Runners took 8
th out of 24 teams.
Bakersfield faced off against the Wolverines last season in Utah and lost 21-17, this year the `Runners are hoping to take the win at home. Head coach for the CSUB wrestling commented on the meet ahead, "After being on the road for so long we are very excited to compete at home," said
Manny Rivera. "UVU will be a tough test for us, they have some very good dual wins this year. We are excited for the opportunity to knock off a Big 12 opponent."

The meet will start promptly at 7 p.m. on Saturday after a CSUB women's basketball game against UMKC at 1 p.m. CSUB will have another home match against Arizona State next Wednesday.
