BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—Saturday March 5, the Icardo Center will host the final regular-season game and Senior Night as the Roadrunners take on Seattle University starting at 7 P.M.

Seniors Aly Ahmed and Kevin Mays will be recognized in their final home game of their careers. Both players have added tremendous strength to the program over the last few seasons. Ahmed joined the program in 2013 while Mays came on board the following season.

Saturday marks the second matchup of these teams in the Western Athletic Conference, the Roadrunners (20-8, 10-3 WAC) will try to sweep the regular-season series with Seattle. The 'Runners defeated the Redhawks (13-14, 7-6 WAC) 79-52 back in January at Key Arena.

Coming off a 77-52 victory against Grand Canyon, the 'Runners are second in the WAC standings and will be the second seed in the WAC Tournament next week. Seattle will be the third seed. The 'Runners are first in scoring defense with an WAC average of 64 points allowed per game. Aly Ahmed leads the 'Runners with 13.6 scoring average and Kevin Mays with a rebound average of 8.2 per contest.

Last Saturday, the Redhawks defeated Utah Valley with a last second three-pointer by Brendan Westendorf. Westendorf is the leading scorer of the team with an average of 12.2, while William Powell has a 6.7 rebound average. It was his second buzzer-beater of the season for Seattle U.

Saturday's game will mark the end of regular season before heading of to Las Vegas WAC tournament. Tipoff will be at 7 P.M. and it will be streamed live on the WAC Digital Network. It will also be broadcast locally on Newstalk 1180 and 96.1 FM KERN.
