2015-16 (SENIOR): Paced ‘Runners in scoring (13.0) for second straight year and was second on the team with 6.2 rebounds per game…led ‘Runners to first NCAA Division I Tournament appearance…named First Team All-Western Athletic Conference after finishing eighth in rebounding, 11th in scoring, fourth in blocks, and sixth in field goal percentage…recorded three double-doubles…scored 20+ points four times…finished career fifth all-time in CSUB history with 588 rebounds, tenth with 1,075 points, and fourth with 79 blocks…became sixth ‘Runner ever to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in a career…led ‘Runners in scoring nine times and rebounding nine times…reset career high in rebounds with 15 vs. NM State Jan. 23…scored season-high 24 points at UMKC Jan. 9, adding nine boards.
2014-15 (JUNIOR): Team's leading scorer averaging 14 points per game...5th in the WAC in scoring...second in rebounding for the Roadrunners with 7.2 rebounds per game...ranked 4th in the WAC in rebounding...first Roadrunner to be named First-Team All-Conference following the 2014-15 season...also named to the WAC All-Tournament team...named to the All-Tournament teams at the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic in Hawai'i and the World Vision Classic at Utah State…scored a career-high 26 points in the first game of the season against High Point in Hawai'i...led the Roadrunners in scoring on 15 occasions...led in rebounding 11 times…registered eight double-doubles.
2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Third on the team in scoring (8.9)…ranked seventh in the WAC in blocks per game (0.83), eighth in rebounding (6.6) , and10th in field goal percentage (47.9) made his Bakersfield debut against Santa Clara Dec. 5 after winning his NCAA appeal for eligibility...scored six points on 4-7 shooting while blocking four shots...scored six points and pulled down four rebounds at USC Dec. 15...recorded his first career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds against UMKC Jan 25…recorded his second double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds against Idaho Feb. 13...scored a career-high 19 points on 5-7 from the field and 9-13 from the free-throw line at Kansas City Feb. 20…went 81-169 (.479) from the field on the year…led the ‘Runners in rebounds per game (6.6) and was second in shots with 20.
2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Attended Midland College in Texas, averaging eight points and six rebounds a game for the Chaps.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Trent International School in Sugarland, Texas…was a member of the 2009 Egypt U19 team and was named FIBA most valuable player in the tournament… has also won multiple international team and individual honors.
PERSONAL: Born March 15, 1992...son of Mohamed and Maha Ahmed…played soccer before focusing on basketball...a liberal studies major...when not on the court, he enjoys swimming and playing tennis…hopes to play professionally or coach after his time at CSUB.
