LARAMIE, Wyo.- The CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners looks to continue their best start in a decade as they take their first road trip of the season Wednesday night taking on Wyoming at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie.

The Roadrunners are coming off perfect home stand that included wins over San Diego Christian, former WAC foe Idaho and most-recently Fresno Pacific 81-68 last Friday.

Wyoming, who won the 2015 Mountain West Tournament and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, is rebuilding following the loss of their top three scorers from a season ago. The Cowboys are 1-2 on the season with their lone win coming against New Mexico Highlands last week. They recently fell 83-82 at Montana State last Saturday night.

The Cowboys are led by senior guard Josh Adams who enters Wednesday's game averaging 35 points per game for Wyoming. He scored a career-high 36 in the loss Saturday to the Bobcats. Adams is one of two players who were with Wyoming the last time they met the 'Runners in 2013. No CSUB team members remain from that squad.

The Roadrunners will undertake the tough task of winning in Laramie where they are a combined 0-3 all-time. The Cowboys have been a difficult team to beat at home winning 14-straight non-conference home games dating back to a loss to SMU in December of 2013. It is currently the ninth-longest non-conference home winning streak in Wyoming history.

CSUB is led by redshirt freshman Damiyne Durham who is averaging 20 points per game for the 'Runners while shooting 47% from the field and 45% from three-point range. Senior forward Kevin Mays is adding 18 points and 10 rebounds per contest for CSUB as well while preseason All-WAC selection Aly Ahmed is averaging 14 points per game for the Roadrunners.

 Wyoming leads the all-time series 4-0 including a 3-0 mark at Arena Auditorium in Laramie.
