Hansen's Roadrunner Aquatics Club won the CA / NV state sectional championship during the weekend of July 15-17.The 400 free relay of Silvius, Martinez, Pipes, Bardessono broke the state record and won the state title while swimming last weekend.
"We should go into the meet with a very high ranking," said CSUB Director of Swimming Chris Hansen. "Jake was the only qualifier last Summer. To go to the meet one year later with eight people is a big jump for us. This will help our recruiting in a big way. This will be one of the fastest meets in the world - everyone's goal at this meet is to either make a team and get Olympic trial cut."
