Massey Scores Twice in 3?0 Win Over Alumni

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Junior Kassi Massey scored two goals and sophomore Yesenia Reyes added one as the CSUB women's soccer team won its exhibition match against the alumni, 3–0, on Saturday evening on the Main Soccer Field. Massey scored in the 71st minute to break a scoreless tie off a feed from sophomore Sam Peña. She added her second in the 86th minute with sophomore Daisy Vazquez getting the assist. Reyes' goal came in the 88th minute as freshman Tyler Shirk combined with Vazquez for the dual assists.

CSUB opens its 2010 campaign on Friday, Sept. 20, against the Cal State Fullerton Titans at 7 p.m. on the Main Soccer Field.
