2012 (JUNIOR): Had one goal and three assists for five points in 19 matches (six starts)...took 24 shots, the fourth most on the team.

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Scored one goal, had one assists for a total of three points...took 10 shots...started four times in 16 matches played.

2010 (FRESHMAN): Led all CSUB freshmen with ten starts, while appearing in all 18 matches...scored three goals and assisted on two others for eight points…registered 26 shots...her first collegiate goal tied the Eastern Washington match (Aug. 27)…assisted on the gamewinning goal against UT-Martin (Sept. 3)…scored the gamewinning goal at Saint Mary’s (Sept. 12)…scored the tying goal against Sacramento State (Sept. 24)…assisted on Sam Peña’s goal against Cal State Northridge (Oct. 21).

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year starter for the Monrovia High School...as a junior and a senior, Shirk was a first team All-Rio Hondo League selection while being named offensive player of the year...earned second-team All-League accolades as a freshman and as a sophomore... the team’s leading goal scorer for three seasons...played for head coach Jamie Payne...also participated in volleyball at Monrovia High School...played club soccer for the Legends FC U-19...team reached the Cal South National Cup semi-finals in 2009 and 2010...was a Surf Cup semi-finalist in 2009...has also played for the Sunnyvale Alliance Soccer Club, Orange Junior Soccer Club and the LAFC.

PERSONAL: Born June 25, 1992...daughter of Tobin and Linda Shirk...a criminal justice major... grandfather, John, played football at USC...uncle, Gary Sutherland, played baseball and basketball at USC and went on to have a 13 year Major League Baseball career and is now a scout for the Angels.
