2026 CSUB Beach Volleyball Schedule Announced

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Head Coach Andy Fulenwider has announced the 2026 beach volleyball schedule as the Roadrunners look to make a run at a Big West title. Cal State Bakersfield will host multiple duals at the Barnes Beach Volleyball Complex at the Student Rec Center while also traveling the country to compete in multiple invitationals.

"We are very excited heading into the season. We have grown tremendously as a program over the past two years and expect to see even more this season. We will be facing some of the best teams in the country in order to prepare for success in the Big West Championships," said Fulenwider.

The season will start in Tallahassee, Fla. on Feb. 20-21 for the FSU Unconquered Invitational. CSUB wil tackle host Florida State, North Alabama, UAB, SE Louisiana, and Georgia State on the East Coast.

To close out the month on Feb. 28, Bakersfield will host both Master's University and Vanguard for CSUB's first home action of the season.

The `Runners will start the month of March at the Long Beach State Invitational where they will go up against LMU, Santa Clara, Stetson, and UAB. The road trip continues the following weekend Mar. 13-14 for Cal State Bakersfield when the team heads to the Malibu Invite.

March's busy schedule continues the next weekend where CSUB will go to the Big West Challenge. Every Big West team will be there to face each other during the multi-day tournament. Bakersfield will then welcome back competition on Mar. 28 as they will host the Bakersfield Beach Bash.

April welcomes another two invitationals on the road for the beach volleyball squad. The Islander Classic will be from Apr. 3-4 and the Pacific Tournament will be from Apr. 11-12.

To close out the regular season, CSUB will go on the road against UCLA on Apr. 14 before returning home to host CSUN and Pacific Apr. 18 on Senior Day.

Cal Poly will host the 2026 Big West Championships at the Swanson Beach Volleyball Complex, Apr. 23-24. The NCAA Championships will be in Gulf Shores, Ala., May 1-3.

Attendance is free for all home matches for Beach Volleyball at the Barnes Beach Volleyball Complex at the Student Rec Center.
