BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Cal State Bakersfield’s beach volleyball program celebrated a standout season as senior Ella Erteltova and sophomore Vivi Kaelin were named to the All-Big West First Team, while sophomore Ella Ensign earned Honorable Mention recognition.?

Erteltova and Kaelin, who compiled an 18-6 record primarily at the No. 2 position, elevated from second-team selections in 2024 to first-team honorees this year. Their consistent performance included a pivotal straight-set victory over Hawai‘i’s top pair during the Big West Championship. 

Ensign, a sophomore from University Place, Wash., contributed significantly to CSUB’s postseason success, including a decisive three-set win alongside partner Katey Milne to clinch a 3-2 upset over Hawai‘i. 

These accolades underscore the Roadrunners’ growing presence in the Big West Conference and highlight the program’s upward trajectory.
