BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Pacific Performing Arts and Athletics Competition Circuit (PPAACC) has released its official performance dates for the 2026 season, with the Roadrunner Cheerleading team once again set to take part in the annual series.

CSU Bakersfield has been a proud supporter of PPAACC since 2015, from cheerleading to the days when CSUB housed a winter guard program. The Roadrunners' continued involvement is both a an opportunity to show skills by the current Roadrunner team and a chance to connect with the next generation of cheerleaders. For many local athletes, PPAACC serves as a unique opportunity to see CSUB spirit up close and personal.

The 2026 PPAACC season will feature six performance events:

• Show 1: February 7

• Show 2: February 14

• Show 3: February 28

• Show 4: March 14

• Show 5: March 28

• Cheer Finals: April 11

Event sites are to be determined.

The PPAACC series features cheerleading, percussion and color guard performances across Central California. CSUB Cheer remains an advocate for the organization's mission to promote positivity, creativity and growth within these performance communities.

"I always look forward to the PPAACC season," said Arthur Smith, head cheerleading coach at CSUB. "Beyond the performances, it's just good to showcase to our community what CSUB Cheerleading is all about. Many of my athletes are from Bakersfield, so it's fun for them to get out in front of their friends and family at these events."
