Get to Know CSUB Men's Soccer: Goalkeepers

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Heading into his second season at the helm of the Cal State Bakersfield men's soccer program, Head Coach Adam Grant has enjoyed the luxury of a full offseason to continue building his program. With a few successful exhibitions in the rearview mirror and the official season kickoff set for Thursday, Aug. 22, Grant and the Roadrunners benefit from returning a large group of veterans while welcoming a handful of talented newcomers to the 2024 squad.

Before the season officially starts, we want to introduce fans to the team, providing more insight into the person behind the name, number, and uniform. First up in our position-by-position breakdown of the `Runner men's soccer team, meet Bakersfield's goalkeepers.

Notable
  • Grant on the group of netminders: "This group is really competitive. Under Boog (Goalkeeper Coach Brandon Hearron) they have been working really hard. It's a position we'll be strong in and it's obviously so important for our team and how we play, especially building out of the back."
  • Grant on the team's veterans: "Experience and determination to be successful are some of our strengths. They have a great idea of what Division I soccer looks like, and what The Big West looks like, and that's invaluable."
