Home Opener Moves Up Due to Anticipated Storm

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – As Kern County and California continue to monitor the arrival of tropical storms due to Hurricane Hilary, the Cal State Bakersfield women's soccer team was forced to adjust the start time of its home opener against Fresno State. The Roadrunners and Bulldogs were originally expected to kick off at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 but have now moved the start time up to 1 p.m. on that same day at CSUB's Main Soccer Field.

The original plans for the ESPN+ broadcast and coinciding live stats remain the same, with all links on our website schedule still valid. We hope to still see our `Runner family in-person on Sunday for our home opening rivalry match! Get Rowdy for the Valley!
