Bakersfield, CA - Following a team vote that saw 60% of its members receive at least one nomination for leadership, the title of captain for the 2023 season has been coffered upon  Julio Mejia and Lydia Perez. 

"It was good to see several members receive votes for captain, as I think it speaks to the number of leaders we have within our program." Arthur Smith, Head cheerleading coach.
