Richardson, Santana, & Miller Take Home Silver

CALIFORNIA – CSU Bakersfield men and women's track and field took silver in three events between the Mt. Sac Relays and Bryan Clay Invite Friday afternoon. The Roadrunners competed against some of the nation's top outdoor competitors and represented well.

Miranda Miller took second place in the women's pole vault at the Mt. Sac Relays Friday afternoon. In a flight with athletes from Michigan, Arkansas, BYU, South Dakota State, and Arizona State. Miller's mark of 13'11.25" is her second-best career clearance and centimeters off from her personal record.

"Unbelievably powerful competition," said Director of Track and Field, Cross Country Marcia Mansur-Wentworth. "Lots of pressure and she [Miller] handled it brilliantly."
