CSUB Baseball Announces Youth and Prospect Camps

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – CSU Bakersfield baseball head coach Jeremy Beard and the rest of the Roadrunner coaching staff have announced three youth summer camps and two prospect camps at Hardt Field this summer.

There will be three separate youth camps this summer for ages 4-13. Each player will receive four days of elite professional instruction, an opportunity to meet and learn from current CSU Bakersfield coaches and players and a chance to play on the same field as their favorite Roadrunners players.

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring their own t-shirt, baseball pants, glove, bat, cleats, running shoes, hat, helmet and any other equipment they deem necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Water will be provided continually throughout the day camp and parents are welcome to stay and watch.

Cost of the camp is $200 and dates and times are listed below.

The prospect camp is designed to help players get exposure to the CSUB coaching staff and to get student-athletes prepared for the next level. It is a great opportunity to showcase your skills, while receiving quality instruction. All players will play in our showcase game, which will be supervised by the CSUB coaching staff. The game is the best opportunity for players to show that prospective student-athletes want to be coached, have the ability to improve, and get the attention of CSUB coaches in the recruiting process.

Water will be provided continually throughout the camp. Cost is $150 per day and $250 to attend both days. Dates and times are listed below.
