BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-- The CSU Bakersfield Athletics Department is proud to announce the launch of its own Runner Nation app for smartphones and tablets. The app is another exciting way for Roadrunner Athletics to connect with the CSUB community and fans.

Fans can find the app by either of the following links: Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). Searching for Runner Nation Rewards Program directly will also lead you to the free app.

As mentioned in the title, the Runner Nation app is a rewards program as students can receive various prizes by checking in at CSUB athletic events. Rewards include but are not limited to a CSUB t-shirt, a custom Roadrunner flash drive, a meeting with a select coach, and an autographed ball.

The app is not limited to just tracking rewards as Runner Nation will also allow fans to stay up-to-date on Roadrunner athletic events through the year. Open up the app any time and find out when your favorite CSUB team will be hosting its next home event. The app also has fun features such as the Fan Cam and Fan Polls.

With a special thanks to Kern Schools Federal Credit Union for helping sponsor the Runner Nation app, CSUB Athletics would like to invite fans to search for and download the app today. Get involved and never miss a 'Runner event with the new Runner Nation app!

Note: Anyone can download and use the app, but only CSUB students can receive rewards.
