BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Bakersfield's Taylor Aikenhead (Sr., Lancaster, Calif., Bakersfield College) has been named WAC Pitcher of the Week (Mar. 10-16).

Aikenhead tossed a complete game four-hitter against Grand Canyon in the series opener versus the Antelopes. Aikenhead did not give up an earned run while striking out six and walking only four.

The Roadrunners travel to Cal State Northridge Tuesday for the second of three games this season against the Matadors. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

The Roadrunners (7-11) defeated the Matadors 3-1 Mar. 4 in Bakersfield. Cal State Northridge leads the all-time series 8-7. The teams meet for the final time on Apr. 29 at Hardt Fied.

Cal State Northridge is 8-13 after dropping 2-of-3 to West Virginia over the weekend. Nick Blaser is the Matadors' leading hitter at a .400 clip.
