2013 (JUNIOR): Chosen Academic All-Conference...tied with Dylan Christensen for the team lead in saves with five....third on the team in victories with five (5-2)...fourth on the squad in ERA (3.11)...appeared in a school record 26 games, starting six times.

2012 (SOPHOMORE): Selected first team All-Independent by CollegeSportsMadness.com...went 6-3 in 10 starts before being shutdown by an elbow injury to his throwing arm...tied with Jeff McKenzie and Scott Brattvet for the team lead in victories...struck out 31 in 59 innings...opponents hit .258 against him...ended the regular season 83rd in Division I in walks per nine innings (1.68).

2011 (FRESHMAN): Went 4-1 with a 3.03 ERA and four saves in 15 appearances for Bakersfield College... struck out 26 while only walking eight in 29.2 innings...SUMMER LEAGUE: Played for the AIA Fire...Selected as an Alaska Baseball League All-Star.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Desert Christian High School...coach was Dennis Shryock...named first team All-Desert Mountain League, Desert Mountain League MVP, first team All-CIF, Division 6 Player of the Year, and Antelope Valley Press Pitcher of the Year as a senior...chosen first team All-League as a junior...team won league titles in 2009 and 2010.    

PERSONAL: Born Mar. 31, 1992...son of David and Robin Aikenhead...a business administration major...high school and Summer League teammate of CSUB infielder Tyler Shryock.
