USC Shutouts CSUB 6-0

LOS ANGELES, Calif.- USC (12-3) scored five runs in the first two innings as the Trojans shutout CSU Bakersfield (7-9) 6-0 Sunday afternoon at Dedeaux Field.

Matt Foat went 3-for-4 with three RBI's while Adam Landecker was 2-for-4 with two runs scored for USC. James Roberts recorded two hits while Garrett Stubbs scored three runs. Dylan Christensen (Jr., Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., Saddleback College) posted two hits on Sunday for the Roadrunners. Christensen hit .500 in the series against USC for CSUB. Jordie Hein (Fr., Scottsdale, Ariz., Chapparal HS) and Oscar Sanay (So., Chula Vista, Calif., Bonita HS) each recorded two hits for the Roadrunners.

CSUB travels to Fresno State for a three-game series beginning Friday night at 6:05 p.m. in Fresno.
