OHAMA, Neb. — The CSUB women's soccer team got off to a fast start, but a strong Creighton University side steamrolled back with two goals midway through first half and rode that momentum to a 3–0 win Saturday afternoon at Morrison Stadium.
The Blue Jays continued their high–flying ways, improving to 12–2–2 with the win. Within its unbeaten streak snapped at three games, CSUB fell to 4–5–5.
The Roadrunners started quickly, earning the first three shots and first two corner kicks before the match was nine minutes old. But Creighton righted the ship and took control midway through the first half by scoring a pair of goals barely seven minutes apart. Rachel Holt's header in the 22nd minute opened the scoring before Erin Gunther's sixth tally of the season made it 2–0 in the 29th minute.
Andrea Zuniga added her sixth of the season just before the hour mark to close the scoring ledger.
