While individual conference titles are on the line, there is also a trip to the 2008 NCAA Division I Championships on the line with the top three in each weight ? plus nine wildcards ? advancing to St. Louis, Mo.

PAC-10 TICKET INFORMATION: All-Session passes and single-session tickets are now available through the Oregon Athletic Ticket Office. All-session passes are currently available for purchase and may either be mailed or picked up at the McArthur Court will call window. For any questions regarding Pac-10 Tournament tickets, please call the Oregon Athletic Ticket office at 1.800.WEBFOOT.

ON DECK: All of Bakersfield's wrestlers who are selected to advance to the 2008 NCAA Division I Championships will compete in the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo., on March 20-22 in hopes of adding to the Roadrunners' already impressive list of All-Americans.

YOUTH VS. EXPERIENCE: Four  (Brandon Zoetewey, Thomas Kimbrell, Daniel Atondo and Daniel Alejandro) of CSUB's 10 wrestlers headed to the Pac-10 Championships wrestled in last year's championships while the other six (Elijah Nacita, Jeremy Doyle, Trevor Hall, Jason Points, Riley Orozco and Mitch Monteiro) will be competing in their first postseason. Zoetewey and Kimbrell earned fifth place finishes in 2007, while Alejandro placed sixth. Atondo earned a third place finish for the ?Runners last year, advanced to national tournament in Auburn, Mich.

LINEUP SHUFFLE: Looking to compile the strongest lineup possible, Head Coach T.J. Kerr has moved a trio of wrestlers into different weight classes. Daniel Alejandro, normally a 157 wrestler, will compete at 174, while Jason Points and Riley Orozco will each move up one weight class, to 184 and 197, respectively.

ATONDO SEEKING A RETURN TO NATIONALS: Senior Daniel Atondo (165) is the Roadrunners' lone returning national qualifier from 2007. After placing third at last year's Pac-10 Championships, he went on to post a 2-2 mark at the NCAA's, falling in the third session to close out his junior campaign. With a 27-11 overall record and a No. 4 Pac-10 ranking, Atondo will be right in the mix to earn a second consecutive trip the NCAA's.

PAC-10 RANKINGS: The final edition of the Pac-10 rankings, released Feb. 26, listed Brandon Zoetewey (125) and Elijah Nacita (141) as the highest ranked ?Runners, both coming in at No. 3. Daniel Atondo (165) is ranked No. 4, while Ryan Bergman (285) checks in at No. 5. Jeremy Doyle (149) and Thomas Kimbrell (133) are both ranked No. 6. With the lineup changes in store for the championship tournament, Trevor Hall (157) is No. 10, Daniel Alejandro (174) is No. 10, Jason Points (184) is listed at No. 8 and Riley Orozco (197) is No. 10.

ROADRUNNERS STILL HOLD TEAM POINTS MARK: In Bakersfield's first Pac-10 title season of 1996, it set a conference record for most team points scored at the Pac-10 Championships with 155 points which still stands. Arizona State held the previous record at 152.75 points in 1993.
In that meet, Bakersfield set school records with four Pac-10 champions, nine Pac-10 placewinners and nine qualifiers to the NCAA Championships. Interestingly enough, the Roadrunners also own the fifth-highest team score in Pac-10 history with their 136.5 in 1999.

CHAMPION DROUGHT SLOWS: In 2007, CSUB continued its return from a drought of individual champions when Brandon Halsey claimed the Pac-10 title at 197 pounds. The year prior, Anthony Bazra won the title at 149 pounds, breaking a five year Roadrunner drought without a Pac-10 individual champion. Prior to those five years, Bakersfield had 22 champions in its first 13 years as a Pac-10 member.

CSUB LOOKING TO KEEP QUALIFIERS STREAK ALIVE: Since 1974, the second season of the wrestling program at Bakersfield, the Roadrunners have had a qualifier to the NCAA Division I Championships every year. And since 1976, Bakersfield has had at least two qualifiers to the championships. The Roadrunners have also qualified at least three wrestlers to the NCAA Championships every year since 1979. FYI: The top three placewinners from each of the 10 weight divisions along with nine at-large selections from the Pac-10 Championships will advance to the NCAA National Championships.

PIN FOR A WIN: Through 607 matches, the Roadrunners have earned 81 of their 378 wins by virtue of a pin. That number far surpasses the 2006-07 season total of 61. Leading the way in that statistical category are Elijah Nacita (141), Jeremy Doyle (149), Trevor Hall (157) and Ryan Bergman (285) who have all totaled six pins. However, the ?Runners fastest pin of the season (23 seconds) came by the hands of freshman Justin Durham (133).

400 AND COUNTING: On Saturday, Jan. 19, Head Coach T.J. Kerr became the fifth active NCAA coach to reach 400 career wrestling victories, following a 37-12 win over Portland State. Kerr now holds a 35-plus-year career record of 404-200-7. Now in his 24th season at the helm of the Roadrunner program, Kerr also owns a 222-130-4 record at CSUB.
