IRVINE, Calif. - For the fifth time this season, a member of the Cal State Bakersfield men's soccer team has been recognized among the top-performing student-athletes in The Big West. Zenden Hart earned Defensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, his second such honor of the 2026 season.

Hart guided Cal State Bakersfield to an undefeated week against two of The Big West's top teams. The goalkeeper stepped up as the Roadrunners tallied shutouts against UC Santa Barbara and UC Irvine. Against the Gauchos, Hart made five saves while notching his second clean sheet of the season. On Saturday against the Anteaters, Hart made three more saves, including a clutch, penalty kick save, on the way to holding his opponents to a scoreless week of action.

The `Runner will put their six-match unbeaten streak on the line with a pair of road matches this weekend. Follow along with the action via links at GoRunners.com/Live.
