CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cal State Bakersfield men's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to seven straight matches with a 1-0 victory over No. 22 Oregon State on Wednesday at Paul Lorenz Field. The Roadrunners held the Beavers to two shots on goal and secured the program's first win over a ranked foe since 2024.

Jesse Wangusi nearly put the dagger in the Beavers with a near-miss shot late in the match, but Cal State Bakersfield protected the lead to the end all the same. Hart and the CSUB defense kept the Beavers from finding an equalizer and the way to their third-consecutive shutout.
