BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), honors the nation's top student-athletes for their achievements both on the court and in the classroom. Cal State Bakersfield is proud to congratulate four Roadrunners on earning Academic All-District® recognition: Luiza Da Cruz, Boden Liljedahl, Suelen Lima, and Druegan Davis.
A senior from Hanford, Calif., Davis earned Academic All-District® for the second-straight season. As a key player for the CSUB women's volleyball team, she appeared all 30 matches, averaging 2.40 kills per set, third-most on the team. Majoring in Psychology, she also carries a 3.52 GPA.
Lima made an immediate impact in her first year for the `Runners, tallying 2.75 kills per set and 0.89 blocks per set, both second-best on the squad. A Physical Education major, Lima has earned a 3.63 cumulative GPA.
Liljedahl was a staple on the back line for the `Runners, splitting time as the starting libero as well as the defensive specialist. She averaged 1.88 digs per set and tallied 21 service aces on the season. The junior boasts a perfect 4.00 GPA as a biology major.
Da Cruz turned into Bakersfield's go-to option at the setter position this season, shining on the court with 6.13 assists and 2.48 digs per set. The native of Brazil is a kinesiology major and holds a 3.95 GPA.

To be nominated for Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must be among the top performing contributors on their team and maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA—one of the highest academic standards for awards in collegiate athletics.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early 2026. for the volleyball program.
