IRVINE, Calif. - Cal State Bakersfield's Jaiden Gore earned a pair of honors from The Big West on Monday, being named the Offensive Player of the Week as well as the Freshman of the Week.

These are Gore's first Big Westly Weekly honors and they mark the third and fourth on the season overall for the `Runners.

Gore scored the game-winning goal in Bakersfield's lone match this week, a come-from-behind victory against Hawai'i. The win clinched a postseason appearance for the Roadrunners and kept CSUB in contention for one of the top spots in The Big West. The redshirt freshman took a free kick from 25 yards out and sent a low, screaming drive into the bottom right corner of the net, beating the diving goalkeeper to put CSUB ahead for good in the 2-1 victory. The goal was Gore's third of the season, and all three goals have proved to be game winners.
