Bakersfield, Calif – The Cal State Bakersfield volleyball team closed out an undefeated weekend at the Roadrunner Classic, presented by Hourglass Hotel, with a 3-1 victory over Nevada on Saturday. The Roadrunners and the Wolf Pack both came into Saturday's finale with a 2-0 record, making the contest the effective "Championship Match" and the home team came out on top.

The `Runners enjoyed a record-setting performance out of freshman Learden Lee, who tallied 11 blocks against Nevada. Lee's performance tied CSUB alum Emma Erteltova, who also had 11 blocks in a match two years ago.

• Sydney Dunning: 18 kills, .390 H%,  8 digs, 4 blocks
• Learden Lee: 4 kills, 11 blocks
• Paige Dugan: 14 kills, .357 H%, 11 digs
• Vivianna Samaniego: 24 assists, 8 digs
• Nene Hawkins: 17 assists, 6 digs
• Katerina Georgiadis: 12 digs

Bakersfield will hit the road again next week to tackle the Boise State Classic, Sept. 13-14.
