• The Cal State Bakersfield baseball team will host four games at Hardt Field this week. 
• Starting off in a mid-week game against Pepperdine on Tuesday. The Roadrunners are set to host Long Beach State for Big West action on Thursday for game one of a three game series. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m. 

 CSUB vs Pepperdine (7-17)

• Bakersfield has already gone head-to-head this season against Pepperdine in a one-off game down in Malibu, Calif.
  • Pepperdine got the best-of Bakersfield winning in a tight 10-8 game.
• The Waves are currently 7-17 in the season, winning their last two games against Pacific.

 CSUB vs Long Beach State (13-8-1, 3-3-0 BW)

• As the `Runners continue Big West action, Long beach State will make the trip up to Hardt Field to play in a three game series against Bakersfield
• The Beach is currently on a three game winning streak, with a winning record of 13-8-1.
• Playing several tough teams this season, Long Beach lost the series going 0-3 to #25 UC Santa Barbara two weeks prior.

CSUB vs. Santa Clara (7-17)

• Saturday, March 27 @ 12 p.m. (PT) at Bakersfield, Calif.
• Bakersfield welcomes Santa Clara for a midweek double-header.
• The Broncos come to CSUB after a three-game set with Idaho University, winning two of three games.
  • 7-3 in their last ten games.
  • SCU has four batters batting over .300 and .284 as a team.
  • Cairah Curran has stolen 15 bases in 18 attempts.
• The two teams last met in February, the Broncos won 7-3 in the Fresno State Tournament.
• The `Runners lead the all-time series 23-11 and are 7-3 in the last ten meetings.

CSUB vs. UC Davis (10-15, 1-5 BW)

• Friday, March 29-30 12 p.m. (PT) at Davis, Calif.
• UC Davis enters the week 1-5 in conference winning one game versus Cal State Fullerton.
  • The Aggies just played LBSU last weekend went to extra innings in both games Saturday losing by one run.
• CSUB trails UCD in the all-time series 4-13-1
  • In the last matchup the two teams met in Bakersfield and the Aggies run ruled the `Runners in all three games.
• Davis is batting .221 as a team
  • Anna Dethlefson is 20-21 when stealing bases this season, good for second in the Big West and seventh in the nation.
• The Aggies pitching staff has a cumulative ERA of 2.95, and none of their pitchers have an ERA over 3.00 for pitchers that have made at least ten appearances.

• The Roadrunners will continue another weekend on the road until they are back for senior day next month. 
• Bakersfield battled a tough fight last weekend at the Big West Challenge but look to bounce back against this week's competition.
• Andy Fulenwider and the Beach Volleyball team have a long week ahead of them as they will compete against Tulane & CSUN at Northridge on Wednesday, and continue their road trip on Friday in Carlsbad to face off against Vanguard and Saint Katherine.

• Bakersfield will meet the Green Waves for the first time in program history.

• CSUB is 1-2 against CSUN this year. 
• `Runners look to revenge their 2-3 loss against the Matadors from this past weekend's Big West Challenge.

Vanguard, Friday, 11 a.m. (PT)

• Bakersfield holds a 7-0 record vs the Lions.
• First-ever meeting came back in 2018.

Saint Katherine, Friday, 1 p.m. (PT)

• Bakersfield holds a 1-0 record against Saint Katherine

• The Cal State Bakersfield Track and Field program travels down to SoCal this Friday. The team's are set to compete at the Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic hosted by UC Irvine.
• The meet was originally set for Friday and Saturday, but due to weather concerns, all events will take place on Friday. 
• UC Irvine, UC Riverside, Azusa Pacific, CSUN, and Utah Tech are notable school's scheduled to compete.

CSUB at Vince O'Boyle Track & Field Classic - Friday, Mar. 29, All Day 

• Matthew Garrett, Javier Toro, Axel Salazar, and Emanuel Banuelos have all set huge personal bests throughout the season in the hammer throw and are ready for another weekend. Garrett is ranked in the Top 50 in the NCAA West for the event. Toro posted the #8 best mark in school history for the HT last weekend with a mark of 199'7". Coach Emeritus, Alan Collatz has led the squad into another historic season thus far. 
• Toro and Garrett will compete in the shot put as well. 
• Jessi Solis has also performed well in the women's hammer throw. Solis holds the #4 spot in Bakersfield history. 
• Miranda Miller continues to improve in the pole vault after dealing with a knee injury early winter. The two-time Big West Champion in the event, looks to have another weekend of season. bests. 
• Helena Valentic is looking forward to competing in the 1500m or the 3,000m steeplechase on Friday. The Croatian native broke the school record last weekend in the 2,000m steeplechase. 
• Nerissa Thompson and Julie Johnson  are coming off big personal bests in the 200m and are set to compete in the event. Thompson will double in the 100m and Johnson will race in the 400m as well. 
• For the women's hurdles, Julia Stein is ready to race in the 100mh and 400mh this weekend. 
• In the men's 1500m, Jacob Yagers will tackle a strong 1500m field. Yagers has his eyes set on a big personal best.
