IRVINE, Calif. – The Big West announced its Spring Academic All-Conference selections on Thursday, recognizing 758 student-athletes across 11 sports who maintained at least a 3.00 institutional GPA while competing in fifty percent of their team's contests. Fourty-four California State University, Bakersfield student-athletes were honored by the conference for their accomplishments in competition and in the classroom.

In total, 172 CSUB student-athletes earned GPAs of 3.00 or better during the spring semester with twelve individual programs posting 3.00-plus cumulative GPAs. The Roadrunners posted a solid 3.20 department-wide cumulative GPA. Individually, 21 `Runners registered perfect 4.00 GPAs for the Spring 2023 semester.
