CSUB Snags Another Recruit with International Experience

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Cal State University Bakersfield women's soccer team is happy to announce yet another recruit with national team experience: Alaina Granger from Auckland, New Zealand. Women's soccer head coach Sebastian Vecchio has announced that Granger will be an incoming sophomore joining the Roadrunners this fall after transferring from the WAC's UTRGV.

  • As a true freshman, started all 18 games and tied for the team-lead with 2 assists in 2022.
  • She made her collegiate debute against Texas A&M International and played in all 90 minutes.
  • Also played a full 90 minutes in 12 matches.
  • Has national team experience with her home country of New Zealand.
