Miller Paces Roadrunners at UNM, Places Fourth in Vault

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The CSU Bakersfield women's indoor track and field team wrapped up its day at the UNM Team Open on Saturday. The Roadrunners continue to make build on individual strides in multiple events nearing the backend of the indoor slate.

Miranda Miller finished highest of any of the `Runners competing placing fourth in pole vault. Miller was the second highest collegian finish in the event. Her mark of 13'00.75" was the same as third, but she landed fourth on misses.

Julia Stein set a season-best in the 60-meter hurdles as well as the 400m dash. Jessi Solis and Madison King both set personals records weight throw.

"This meet is one of the deepest in competition that we've seen," stated Director of Track & Field, Cross Country, Marcia Mansur-Wentworth, "Miranda, Julia, Jessi and Madison all responded very well."

"I'm very proud of the efforts of the team," added Mansur-Wentworth, "and I look forward  to building on this."
