UC Santa Barbara Contest Washed Away

Bakersfield, Calif. - CSU Bakersfield's Tuesday evening contest with UC Santa Barbara has been canceled due to rain in the Santa Barbara area. The game is not expected to be made up, but the two teams will meet later this season when the Gauchos visit Hardt Field on Apr. 21 at 6 p.m.

The Roadrunners will return to action this weekend when they play host to visiting UC Riverside in a three game weekend series. The Highlander's series marks the first three of eight remaining games against future Big West Conference opponents this season. The three game set will begin on Friday, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
