SAN FRANCISCO—CSUB's Ian Nickell, the Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year, is among four Roadrunner wrestlers named Academic All-Conference Thursday.

Nickell, CSUB's 141-pounder, is now a four-time first team Academic All-Conference selection after maintaining a 3.91 GPA in his petroleum engineering major. Joining Nickell on the first team are 197-pounder Reuben Franklin and heavyweight Matt Williams. Franklin majors in biology and has a 3.56 GPA. Williams has a 3.52 GPA in his criminal justice major.

Rounding out the CSUB Academic All-Conference selections on the second team is Coleman Hammond. Hammond has a 3.17 GPA in his business administration major.
