SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- The CSU Bakersfield track and field team posted a pair of individual wins and two personal-best performances during Saturday's Cal Poly ShareSLO.com Invitational.

On the women's side, Angel Valdez won the 5000m while Taeviona Wilson recorded a personal best in the 100m; Alicia Byrd did the same in the triple jump. Madison Bundy placed second in the javelin.
“It was a great outing and I am very pleased with the progress,” said Director of Track and Field Marcia Mansur-Wentworth.
In the men's competition, Jose Flores took first place in the high jump while Tristan Watson took third place in the 100m hurdles.
