BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—The CSU Bakersfield baseball team welcomes Oklahoma to Hardt Field this week for a four-game series beginning Thursday at 6 p.m.
Friday's play is set for 6 p.m. with a doubleheader getting underway at 12 p.m. on Saturday. Roadrunner Sports Network coverage of all four games beginning with the first pitch will be available on Bakersfield.com.
The Sooners are 7-9-1 after defeating Fresno State 3-2 on Tuesday night. Sheldon Neuse leads Oklahoma in hitting (.340)., home runs (4), RBI's (14), slugging percentage (.698), and on-base percentage (.467).
CSUB's Christian Deaton was named College Sports Madness WAC Player of the Week Mar. 12. Deaton hit .455 with two RBI's in four games. He posted a .727 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage. The Roadrunners broke an eight-game losing streak on Sunday when CSUB defeated UC Riverside 8-2. The 'Runners are 5-10 on the year.
