BAKERSFIELD, Calif.- Touch Soccer, in association with Boom Productions has launched the first two of a five-part series featuring CSU Bakersfield men's soccer.
The production, created by former CSUB men's soccer player Nathan Carey follows the Roadrunners during their most recent Spring season and also looked back on a stellar 2014 campaign that included the debut of new head coach Richie Grant.
The series follows several plots surrounding CSUB soccer, including the departure of longtime head coach Simon Tobin, Grant's taking over the program as well as the unprecedented media attention paid to CSUB soccer compared to many NCAA Division I programs in the country.
Special attention is also paid to the development of the program as a national powerhouse despite working with humble resources compared to many other top-tier programs.
The series, developed by the Boom Productions staff, features interviews with coaches, student-athletes, fans, administrators and local media members. The Roadrunners join other programs such as Stanford, UC Santa Barbara and San Jose State to be featured in similar productions.
Following the first two episodes release on the Touch Soccer YouTube Channel on Monday June 15, the remaining episodes will be released on June 22, June 29 and July 6.
The first two episodes can be found below, as well in the YouTube player embedded on the front page of GoRunners.com.
