BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The Bakersfield baseball team hosts UC Riverside this weekend at Hardt Field.

The Roadrunners have won the last two in the series against the Highlanders. UC Riverside leads the all-time series 9-3.UC Riverside is 3-5 entering this weekend. Nick Vilter leads UC Riverside with a .462 batting average and a .962 slugging percentage. The Highlanders have not determined their weekend rotation.

Wednesday's game between Bakersfield and Fresno State was postponed until May 13 due to rain. The start time remains 6:35 p.m.
