"We had a rough day," said Bakersfield director of swimming and diving Chris Hansen. "Michaela Paige could only swim two events due to her recurring elbow injury and Delise Batiza is battling some breathing issues. Paola Hernandez, Nicolette Goncalves and Jeanette Dove took control of their events to have some great swims. We are psyched to have finished the women's dual meet season with an 8-5 record. We are on the right road to swim a very fast WAC Championship."
The Roadrunner regular season is complete. CSUB won a school record eight duals during the regular season (8-5). The next time Bakersfield returns to the pool will be at the Feb. 26-Mar. 1 WAC Championships in San Antonio, Texas.
