2015-16 (JUNIOR): Won nine races during regular season…Helped 400 free and 800 free relay teams win titles at WAC Championships…Was part of 200 medley (1:42.20) and 400 free (3:20.55) relay teams that reset the CSUB all-time records and the 200 free (1:33.02) and 800 free (7:18.33) relays that posted second-best all-time marks for CSUB…Moved to third all-time for the ‘Runners in 100 free (50.45) with silver medal at WAC meet...Reset school record in 200 IM (2:02.19) with bronze-medal swim at WAC Championships…Earned Second Team All-WAC with fourth-place finish in 200 free at WAC meet with season-best 1:49.83…Posted season-best 23.95 in 50 free at A3 Performance Invite…Season-best in 100 fly came in prelims of A3 meet (56.86).

2014-15 (SOPHOMORE): Won 16 races during dual season…Broke school record in 200 IM at A3 Performance Invite with time of 2:03.34 en route to finishing fifth in final…Placed 14th in final at WAC Championships…Reset personal best in 100 back with leadoff time of 56.56 in relay at WAC meet, good enough for second all-time in CSUB 100 back history…Lowered personal best in 100 free at A3 meet to 50.76 on her way to finishing eighth…Placed second in WAC finals in 100 free (50.90) to earn First Team All-Conference honors…Swam season-best (1:50.76) in 200 free at A3 meet on her way to finishing eighth…Placed fifth in WAC finals in 200 free to earn Second Team All-Conference honors…Took a leg of the 400 medley relay which posted the second-fastest time in CSUB history (3:46.09) to finish fifth at WAC Championships…Swam a leg of the 200 free relay team which broke the school record with a time of 1:33.00 at the WAC meet en route to a second-place finish and Second Team All-Conference honors… Swam a leg for the 400 free relay team which posted the second-best time in CSUB history (3:22.82) on its way to winning the WAC title…Helped 800 free relay team to a WAC title with second-best CSUB all-time performance (7:18.33).

2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Made an immediate impact on the Roadrunner swim program…Swam in eight different events and excelled in most…Recorded 11 first-place finishes at dual meets…Earned All-Conference honors at the WAC Championship by placing second in the 100 free (1st Team) in a time of 50.81 and fourth in the 200 free (2nd Team) with a 1:49.34 finish…Posted season best times in the WAC meet 100 free preliminaries and the 200 IM finals…Swam into the CSUB All-Time Top 5 list in eight events: 100 free (fifth; 50.80), 200 free (fourth;1:49.34), 100 back (fifth; 57.19), 200 IM (second; 2:04.11), 400 medley relay (second; 3:44.43), 200 free relay (first; 1:33.20) 400 free relay (first; 3:28.17), and 800 free relay (first; 7:16.08)…Was the only freshman on two of the three relay teams she helped break school records.  

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Cabrillo High School...Coach was Scott Alvarez...Finished first at the CIF Championships in the 100 butterfly and was fourth in the backstroke...A part of the Cabrillo 200 free relay that won a CIF title and broke the school record (1:42.01) in the event.

PERSONAL: Born May 31, 1995...Daughter of Mario and Rita Hernandez...A communications major working on minors in digital media and studio art...Father played professional soccer in Liga MX with Pachuca from 1984-86.
