BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--Bakersfield women's basketball head coach Greg McCall announced the 2013-14 schedule Thursday.

The Roadrunners' inaugural season in the Western Athletic Conference will feature 12 home games, the first coming Nov. 20 against Concordia-Irvine. The 'Runners open the season Nov. 9 at Oregon before heading to Oregon State two days later. Bakersfield plays a total of three Pac-12 teams, as the 'Runners head to 2013 Final Four participant Cal on Dec. 15.

The first WAC home game is set for Thursday, Jan. 16 when Seattle U comes to the Icardo Center. The majority of the WAC games will be played on Thursday and Saturday each week. The WAC Tournament will be played Mar. 12-15 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

"We are very excited about the upcoming season and the 2013-14 schedule," McCall said.
"This will also be our first year in the WAC and we look forward to having an opportunity to win a conference championship, compete in a conference tournament, and advance to a post season tournament. This opportunity is great for the players, fans, and the City of Bakersfield."
