BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Ari Wideman, Cal State Bakersfield's second-year Head Women's Basketball Coach, has rounded out her coaching staff for the 2025-26 season with the addition of Malika Glover, who will serve the Roadrunners as their Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator.

"Coach Glover is a proven winner who brings a track record of positive impact at every stop in her coaching career," Wideman said. "Her character, knowledge, and experience make her an outstanding addition. She will excel in leading our recruiting efforts. Glover also brings extensive experience in working with perimeter players, scouting, and recruiting. She is ready to hit the ground running and work."

Glover comes to Bakersfield following five years in the Horizon League, coaching the most recent season at Milwaukee and the four seasons prior at Youngstown State. While in Youngstown, Glover helped the Penguins win 66 games, including a 24-win season in 2021-22, culminating in a Women's NIT appearance and a Horizon league Regular Season Championship.

Prior to her time at Youngstown State, Glover served as the video coordinator and assistant recruiting director at South Dakota. During the 2019-20 season with the Coyotes, the team finished the regular season with a 30-2 record including an unblemished 16-0 mark in the Summit League. The team won both the conference regular season and tournament championships prior to the COVID-19 cancellation of that year's NCAA Division I Championship. The Coyotes reached as high as No. 11 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

A former collegiate student-athlete, Glover competed for Northern Kentucky where she earned both bachelor's and master's degrees. During her time with the Norse, Glover helped NKU to a 19-win season and the championship game of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament.
