BAKERSFIELD, Calif.--The CSU Bakersfield women's basketball travels to Utah Valley to face the Wolverines for the second time this season Wednesday night. Tip is set for 7:05 p.m. (MST) in Orem.
CSUB and Utah Valley are playing for the seventh time with the Roadrunners holding a 5-1 series advantage. CSUB defeated the Wolverines 67-65 Jan. 19 in Bakersfield.
Utah Valley improved to 12-14 overall and 6-1 in Great West play when the Wolverines defeated Chicago State 63-55 last Saturday in Chicago. Sammie Jensen leads the team by averaging a double-double of 17.4 points and 13.9 rebounds per game.
New Mexico State snapped CSU Bakersfield's winning streak at nine, 87-81 in women's basketball action last Saturday. The nine-game streak was the longest for the Roadrunners at the Division I level.
